Official: HGM not to change output plan after snow slide hits mine

MOSCOW, Dec 29 (PRIME) -- Highland Gold Mining (HGM) has no plans to change the production plan after a snow slide has hit its mine Mnogovershinnoye in the Khabarovsk Region, an official told PRIME on Saturday.

“Works on tunnel 1 were suspended. The other tunnels of mine Mnogovershinnoye are working as usual, the plant is working as well, the plan for ready product output remains unchanged,” the official said.

The official said that nine people were injured and two are dead after two snow slides fell near tunnel 1 of the mine.
